Homebound Services

Librarians on the Move!

Are you an Elwood patron who is confined to your home because of an illness or a disability?  We’re bringing the library to you!  Elwood Public Library’s Homebound Service allows qualifying members of the community access to library items that are directly delivered to their home.

Our Adult Services librarian is here to help you stay connected with items from the library delivered to your door!   She will chat with you to find out your favorite authors, books, magazines and DVDs and then make selections to fulfill your requests.  When you have finished with the items, you can call the library and someone will come to pick them up.
